Why we open source

We use open source software every day. Terraform, Kubernetes, Grafana, half the tools we rely on were built by people who decided to share what they made. We think it is only fair to do the same.

During client work we often build small utilities, modules, and configurations that solve problems other people will hit too. Where we can, and where clients are happy for us to, we release these publicly. Someone else will probably run into the same issue next week.

What to expect

We are at the early stages of this, so the catalogue is still growing. The sorts of things we expect to share include:

  • Terraform modules for common infrastructure patterns
  • Kubernetes utilities and Helm charts
  • CI/CD pipeline templates and reusable workflows
  • Monitoring and observability configurations
  • Internal tools that turned out to be broadly useful

Everything will be released under permissive licences and designed to be practical rather than impressive.

Contributing upstream

Beyond our own repositories, we encourage everyone on the team to contribute back to the projects we depend on. Bug reports, documentation fixes, small patches. It all adds up, and it keeps the ecosystem healthy for everyone.

Get involved

If you want to follow along, the best place to start is our GitHub organisation. Star the repos that interest you, open issues if something is broken, and pull requests are always welcome.
