About Us
A UK IT consultancy that speaks your language.
Gremlin Group is the trading name of Gremlin LTD, a UK IT consultancy based in Harlow, Essex. The name comes from a love for the old sci-fi film, and the gremlins in the system that anyone who has worked in technology knows all too well. We have spent our careers chasing those gremlins, so the name stuck.
Between us, we have over 20 years of experience across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, software development, and AI. We started Gremlin because we kept watching businesses get sold platforms they did not need. A big consultancy would roll in, sell something expensive, then disappear before anyone had to maintain it. Half the time a simpler setup would have been fine, but nobody was going to suggest that because simpler does not pay as well.
We are small and plan to stay that way. When you work with us, you are talking to the people doing the actual work. We have turned down projects that were not a good fit, and we will again. We would rather say no upfront than take your money and deliver something we are not proud of.

Discovery
We dig into your current setup, understand the constraints, and identify what will make the biggest difference.
Proposal
You get a clear scope, timeline, and cost. No surprises, no hidden fees, no vague "it depends".
Build and deliver
We do the work. Infrastructure as code, proper documentation, regular check-ins. You know what is happening at every stage.
Handover
We walk your team through everything we have built. The goal is that you can run it without us.
Ongoing support
If you want us to stick around, we offer retainers for continued support. If not, no hard feelings.
